A-1 Pizza Newport was voted Best of Newport County, Best Cheese Pizza by Newport Life Magazine, and the locals seem to love it.

Pizza selections range from basic Cheese Pizza to basic Pizza with toppings such as Pepperoni, Black Olives, Sweet Onion, Mushrooms, and many, many more. A-1 Pizza Newport also offers Gourmet Pizzas such as Hawaiian, Luau, Greek Style, Gyro Pizza, Portuguese, Alfredo, and several other specialty Pizzas. Other Menu items at A-1 Pizza Newport include Seafood such as Shrimp Basket, Clam Strips and others. They also serve Chicken entrees, Hot Dogs, Soup, several varieties of Fries, Burgers, and Grinders. The Grinders may be ordered on a Pita, roll, or Wrap. A few selections from the Grinder Menu at A-1 Pizza Newport include BLT, Turkey, Roast Beef, Vegetarian, and several other choices. There are also dinner selections such as Pastichio, BBQ St Louis Style Ribs and others.

I visited A-1 Pizza Newport and ordered a couple of Pizza slices. The Pizza was okay. The dough was thin like I like it, but was not exactly New York Style. It was still tasty though. Overall, A-1 Pizza Newport is a good place to eat. The service is fast and friendly, and the Restaurant is clean.
