Aron's Pizza is a little Italian Restaurant located on Park Avenue in Orange Park, Florida just up the road from NAS Jacksonville. The name would lead you to believe that they are just a Pizzeria, but they serve several other Italian Dishes also. I have dined there several times and have never had a bad meal. My favorite is the Chicken Parmigiana. It is a good portion at a reasonable price and very tasty. I have also sampled the stuffed shells and tried the Baked Ziti on other occasions and enjoyed both of these Italian Dishes also.

The last time I was at Aron's Pizza I ordered the Manicotti. The Manicotti is two tubes of pasta filled with ricotta and mozzarella cheese covered with tomato sauce. It was served piping hot and was very good. The pasta tubes were al dente, and it comes with an ample sized garlic bread loaf and a side salad. I also ordered the Homemade Garlic Pretzel that is served with tomato sauce. The Garlic Pretzel wasn't bad, but I wasn't impressed. Other folks that I have dined with there usually get the Caribbean Pizza. This is not something that I would care for being a staunch Yankee, New York Style Pizza critic, but if you're into chicken and pineapple on your pizza, my colleagues say it is very good. However, the Pizza is thin crusted (the way Pizza should be), so I will have to try it soon and give you my Yankee point of view on it - but the Pizza I try will be something more traditional and not a Pizza with fruit such as the Caribbean Pizza! They also offer Sicilian Style thick crust Pizza if that is more your taste. Additional menu items include hot and cold sub sandwiches and Calzones.

I recommend Aron's Pizza for lunch or dinner when visting Orange Park, Florida.
