Carolina Crust Pizza Cafe Carolina Crust Pizza cafe is a brand new Restaurant & Bar located on Tanner Ford Blvd in Hanahan, SC. The location is not obvious. It can be found across the street from the Hanahan Shopping Center. They serve a variety of choices, but the main focus is their Pizzas.

Carolina Crust Pizza cafe offers several varieties of their Gourmet Pizzas which include choices such as Margherita, Quanttro Formaggio, Hawaiian, Greek, Buffalo Chicken, Pesto, and more. Carolina Crust Pizza Cafe also has a Pizza called the Granny's Apple Pie which is a Pizza topped with Roasted Garlic Olive Oil, sliced Granny Smith Apples, Bleu Cheese, Toasted Almonds, and Mozzarella Cheese. For folks that like a more traditional style Pizza, like myself, they do offer a Build your own Pizza where you can order Pepperoni, Black Olives, Green Peppers, and other more traditional toppings. Carolina Crust Pizza Cafe also offers wheat crust Pizza too. They claim to have a secret dough recipe too. Other Menu items at Carolina Crust Pizza Cafe include Wraps, Pastas, Salads, and Appetizers. they also have a Kids Menu that includes spaghetti and small Pizzas.
I tried the build your own Pizza at Carolina Crust Pizza Cafe. I ordered a 14" with Green Peppers and Pepperoni. It came out relatively quickly and piping hot. I am more of a Yankee Italian Brooklyn NY Style Pizza guy, but I have to say this Pizza is very good. The sauce is tasty, and the dough is thin and chewy. Carolina Crust Pizza Cafe does not claim to be New York Style Pizza, but it is just as tasty. We also found the service to be fast and friendly.
Carolina Crust Pizza Cafe also has a Bar. The atmosphere is light with high tables and is not cramped. They also have outside seating and Beer on Tap as well as an assortment of drinks and bottled Beer. Ladies Night is Wednesday. Thursday night they offer Live Trivia with a chance to win a Bar Tab. On Friday & Saturday Nights they have Live Acoustic Bands.
I recommend Carolina Crust Pizza Cafe for an excellent Gourmet Pizza experience in Hanahan, SC.
