Centre Pointe Bar & Grill

Centre Pointe Bar & Grill is a new Sports Bar located in the Tanger Outlet Mall in North Charleston. It is a very large and roomy Restaurant with a Bar area as well.  There are Flat screen television sets all over the place.  I counted 8 Large Flat screen TVs at the Bar, and 12 on the walls around the rest of the Restaurant.  There is also a smaller flat screen TV in each booth for personal selection of Sports or anything else you want to watch.  Centre Pointe Bar & Grill is also a very clean and respectable place to hang out, and if you are in Charleston for Business and staying at one of the local motels near the airport, Centre Pointe Bar & Grill is just a few minutes away.

The food and service at Centre Pointe is outstanding also. Our drink orders were taken right away, and when the drinks were served, our orders were taken. We did not wait long for our food either. I ordered the Surf & Turf which was a 10 oz NY Strip Steak topped with about 8 shrimp. The Surf & Turf is a special served on Thursdays. The Steak was cooked like I ordered it, and the shrimp were tasty. The meal came with a salad and a baked potato. Cheryl ordered the Teriyaki Burger with Swiss Cheese. She claimed it was one of the best Burgers she had ever had. Initially she cut it in half, and you can see by the cross-section it was cooked perfectly. Unfortunately the batteries in my camera died, so I couldn't provide a picture, but it was a thing of beauty. The menu at Centre Pointe Bar & Grill has a good selection of other entrees too such as chicken, pub grub items, Steaks, sandwiches, salads & desserts.

Centre Pointe Bar & Grill also has a good size Bar with several Beers on tap, but unfortunately they got rid of the Heineken tap. After our meal, we made our way to the Bar and enjoyed a few beverages and played some Video Games. The Bar has two of these Video Games on either end. The service at the Bar was excellent too. I never had to wait long, or beg to get the bartender's attention. There is plenty to keep you entertained at Centre Pointe such as Pool Tables if you like to play a game of Pool, there are two Pool Tables to keep you busy. There are other Bar Game enjoyments such as Golden Tee Golf and other Video Games, and there is even a Foosball Table too. Centre Pointe offers Live Entertainment on Thursday & Friday, a Live DJ performs on Saturday, Team Trivia on Tuesday, and a Name That Tune Contest and Karaoke with Duck on Wednesday. We were there on a Thursday Night and the Live Entertainment was an acoustical band. It appears to me that the owners take pride in selecting who will play at Centre Pointe Bar & Grill. The Band that night was perfect for the venue.

Overall, Centre Point Bar & Grill is a nice place to have dinner & drinks or just to hang out. It is clean and friendly, and there is plenty of things to keep you Entertained. The food is excellent, and the service is great too. You can't go wrong visiting Centre Pointe, and as I said before, if you are traveling on Business and staying at one of the nearby motels, it is a very short drive over there.
