I just visited Naval Station Great Lakes and looked around
the Waukegan and Gurnee areas recently. I ate at a few places and also
enjoyed some brews at a few others. Gurnee is where Six Flags
amusement Park is located. I also visited Waukegan North Harbor Park.
The Park is very small with a few Restaurant stands if you like Deli, Hot
Dogs and Ice Cream. The water on teh Lake was beautiful and you can
see the bottom in water that I am guess is 15 - 20 feet deep. These
areas that I recently visited are to teh North of Chicago. I wrote
