Coosaw Creek Crab Shack Coosaw Creek Crab Shack is a Seafood Restaurant located on Dorchester Road in North Charleston. Their slogan is "World Famous Seafood Service & Smiles." On a funny note, the Crab Shack Menu states "Our She Crab has won every award we have created." I'm not sure if they meant to say that or not, but I have heard the She Crab is good, but I have never tried it myself.

Coosaw Creek Crab Shack Highlights
The Coosaw Creek Crab Shack is a large facility with a full Bar and plenty of seats. The decor is nautical and Rustic, and I particularly liked the tin roof that protruded above the Bar. It gave it a nice Margaritaville kind of feeling. The tables all have a large bucket sunk into the middle for your shells and what not - A typical Rustic Seafood Restaurant feature. The wait staff were friendly and attentive, and this visit was more enjoyable than our visit to the East Bay Crab Shack back in October.
This time I ordered the Fried Scallop Platter. It came with Red Bliss Potatoes or Rice, and a small cob of corn and Coleslaw. Cheryl decided on the Fried Shrimp. The Scallops were very good, and I estimate the Platter came with about 12 - 15 Scallops on it. They were very tasty and juicy and weren't heavily breaded. The corn on the cob was over-cooked which is typical of Seafood Restaurants it seems. Cheryl's Shrimp Platter was excellent as well and there were about 16 - 18 Shrimp on the Platter. The Shrimp were not heavily breaded either and were cooked to perfection. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals and were full and satisfied when we left the Coosaw Creek Crab Shack.
If you like Seafood in a Rustic dining atmosphere, then try out Coosaw Creek Crab Shack.
