Crown Sterling Restaurant Highlights
When you enter the Crown Sterling Restaurant, you are greeted by the maître d’ and your reservation is checked. Everyone at the Crown Sterling wears formal clothing such as tuxedos or suits and ties. They have a waiting room/lounge that is European in style. The lounge is elegant, cozy, and relaxed, and the wait staff is professional and courteous.
The Crown Sterling Restaurant prides itself in serving aged Grain-Fed Western Beef, lightly seasoned and cooked over charcoal. Their menu has much more than Grain-Fed Western Beef though. They also serve Lobster Tail, Chicken, Shrimp, Yellow Fin Tuna, and even Escargot for the sophisticated palate. I ordered the Niblick Fillet, which they claim is their signature and best selling Menu entrée. It consists of a 5 oz Lean cut Filet wrapped in bacon and served with a béarnaise sauce on the side. It comes with either a baked potato or rice and a sliced apple garnish. All entrees also come with the Salad Buffet. The Salad Buffet has a small assortment of items, but the serving bowls are very small. My meal was very tender as expected from a Petite Filet Mignon. The meal was enjoyable, and I will revisit the Crown Sterling Restaurant if I find myself in the Lynchburg, Virginia area again.
As I stated earlier, the Crown Sterling Restaurant is a relaxed and elegant Restaurant, if you are in a hurry, then this is not the place to go. You are served and checked on, but they do not bother you or hurry you while you are dining and conversing with your other table guests. The food is a little pricey, but that should be expected for a Restaurant of this caliber.
I recommend the Crown Sterling Restaurant for a quiet, intimate, and relaxed dining experience.
