Dixie Saloon

The Dixie Saloon is located in Mackinaw City and is hard to miss. It is a distinctive two story building that is in the heart of Mackinaw City towards the water not too far from Shepler's Ferry. The Dixie Saloon also offers Entertainment every night. It serves food and has a large Dining area upstairs and downstairs. The Bar area is large, but feels cramped due to the support structures throughout the building. These support structures look nice and fit with the decor,, but they reduce the number of seats at the Bar and restrict TV viewing in some places.

The Decor in Dixie Saloon is nice, light and airy. They have a very Large Aquarium in the Bar area and all the wood is light throughout the Bar and Dining Rooms. Some of the seats in the Bar area are shaped like saddles. while interesting, they aren't very comfortable if you sit in them too long. The Entertainment varies at Dixie Saloon. They offer something different every night including DJs, Karaoke, and Acoustic Bands. You can also play Michigan State sponsored Club Keno or play Michigan State Pull Tabs if you want to try your luck.

Overall, the wait staff at Dixie Saloon is friendly and the prices are typical for the Mackinaw City area. It is a nice place to go and enjoy a beverage and play some Keno while listening to some Music.
