Echo Restaurant is a Truck Stop Restaurant located in Carnesville, GA just off of I-85 at Exit 166. It is easy to get to and easy to get on and off the Interstate from Echo Restaurant. They specialize in Breakfast 24 hours a day, but Echo Restaurant also serves Lunch and Dinner.

The food at Echo Restaurant is pretty good, and their prices are reasonable too. The Breakfast Menu at Echo Restaurant offers a variety of Home Made Biscuit Sandwiches including Omelet Biscuits, Fried Bologna Biscuits, and others. Echo Restaurant also makes their own Sausage, and obviously you can order Home Made Biscuits with their Home Made Sausage Gravy. They also offer other Breakfast items like Pancakes and fried eggs. The entrees come with a choice of Hash browns or Grits and Toast or Home Made Biscuits. Another Breakfast Menu item at Echo Restaurant that caught our eye was Basted Eggs. I never heard of Basted Eggs before, so I had to ask the waitress what that was. A Basted Egg is one that is cooked on the grill and they flip the grease over it while it cooks. That did not sound very healthy, so I took a pass and ordered my usual Eggs over easy with Home Made Sausage and Hash browns. The food was very good, and I particularly liked the Home Made Sausage. The Sausage had a little bite to it, but not too spicy. Echo Restaurant coffee is pretty good too.

As I said, Echo Restaurant also offers Lunch and Dinner. They also have a small Salad Bar and Daily specials like Roast Beef and mashed potatoes, field Peas. Echo Restaurant isn't much to look at both from the outside or the inside, but it is a very convenient stop to eat just of Interstate 85. They do not accept credit cards, but their is an ATM next door at the gas station.

I recommend Echo Restaurant for Breakfast. It is fast, convenient to I-85, and the food & prices are all good.
