Esther's Follies on 6th Street in Austin Texas is one of the Funniest Comedy
Shows I have ever seen, and well worth the admission price. The Comedy is fast, up to date politically, a bit risqué, and absolutely hilarious. Open Thursday through Saturday, Esther's Follies provides two Comedy Shows a night. Get there early for a good seat.

Esther's has been around Austin, Texas for decades. I have heard about Esther's Follies through other travelers, and I had to come see the Show for myself. I indeed did enjoy the Show, and laughed to almost tears. Esther's Follies is a different brand of Comedy Show. It is also a Magic Show that will amaze you as well as make you laugh at the same time. I visited Esther's Follies on January 15, 2009 less than a week away from President Obama's Inauguration. I was surprised that the Comedy Troupe at Esther's Follies had already worked Skits into the Show about First Lady Michelle, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, President Obama speeches, and President Bush giving a funny departing speech. The whole Show is full of other off the wall Skits, and many of their characters will make you laugh as they walk outside on the sidewalk and come up to the window.

I highly recommend Esther's Follies for a side splitting good time on 6th Street in Austin, Texas.
