Extra Virgin Oven also known as EVO Pizzeria is a quaint Restaurant featuring Hand Made Wood-Fired
Gourmet Pizzas in the heart of the Historic District of North
Charleston. But Wood-Fired Pizza isn't their only specialty. EVO Pizzeria also serves soups, salads,
Calzones, and Panini. EVO Pizzeria is a great place for Lunch particularly in the Spring when
the weather allows you to enjoy your food under an umbrella at one
of the sidewalk tables.
I met a colleague for Lunch at EVO Pizzeria one
day. It was a beautiful warm Spring day and we sat outside in
front. We both ordered an 8 inch Pork Trifecta Pizza.
The Pork Trifecta Pizza is topped with Home Made Sweet Sausage,
Pepperoni, and Maple Smoked Bacon. All of EVO's Pizzas are Hand
Made with Mozzarella, Parmigiano-Reggiano and Sea Salt. EVO's
Pizza is also prepared with Home Made Sauce and Hand Made dough. The Pork Trifecta was very good and we enjoyed every
bite. The presentation of teh food was very inviting as well. We also
enjoyed a pitcher of Ice Tea. The meal was very good, and I
will definitely be back. Just not on Sunday or Monday when
they are closed.
EVO Pizzeria has a few other Gourmet Pizzas to
choose from such as Margherita, Bianca, and Pistachio Pesto.
EVO Pizzeria also serves Calzones and other dishes too. There
is also a small Bar inside with Beer on Tap. Because I was on
Lunch break from my real job, I did not partake in any adult
beverages.
If you are looking for a nice Restaurant for Lunch, then try out EVO
Pizzeria. I highly recommend Extra Virgin Oven Pizzeria, and I have given them
a Best of BTF award.
