Fat Catz Music Club is located in the French Quarter on Bourbon Street in New
Orleans and is a great place if you want to Dance to good Music from the 70's and 80's.
Heineken here is $6.50, but they offer 3 drinks for the price of 1 until 9:00
PM, so the price before 9:00 PM is a good deal and typical of drink prices on
Bourbon Street, or the whole of French Quarter for that matter. The band that played when I was there
played mostly Disco, but they also played stuff like Brown Eyed Girl
and did it very well. The place is a Dive though. A big room
which is mostly a Dance Floor with a big stage.
I recommend Fat Catz Music Club
if you want to hear some good old 70's and 80's Music and like to Dance, but get there early. They
get crowded and the number of stools and tables available is woefully
inadequate. Fat Catz Music Club is hard to miss in the French Quarter.
Just follow the Music.
