French Lick Springs Resort Casino The French Lick Springs Resort Casino is a Riverboat style Casino. It is somewhat of a facade in that the "boat" sits in a small, man-made body of water. A Casino dealer joked about it and called it a moat that gets dry every now and then. The French Lick Springs Resort Casino has been open since October of 2006, and the locals are hoping that the Casino will revitalize the Orange County Economy.

The Casino has all of the table games you would want including Black Jack, Caribbean Stud, Roulette, Craps, and Let It Ride. They also have Slot Machines throughout the Casino. If you like Texas Hold 'em or Baccarat, you can also play those games at the French Lick Casino too. I found that the dealers were very friendly and will interact with you. They make it a point to remember your name, which makes for a refreshing experience at the tables.
I enjoyed myself when I visited the Casino by playing Craps and a little bit of Let It Ride, and I was able to take $175.00 home with me too. Usually when you are gambling in a Casino, drinks are free, but not at the French Lick Springs Resort Casino. Not only are the drinks not free, the price is higher than if you went to a regular bar. I found this to be bit cheesy. Customarily, drinks are complimentary at a Casino while you are throwing your money around the Slot Machines and table games. But, if you want to drink and gamble in Southern Indiana, you have to put up with it.
The Resort also has several restaurants, 45 holes of golf, spas, a bowling alley, retail shops, and a large swimming pool. It is a very classy Hotel Resort Casino.
