Joe's Gizzard City is located in Potterville, Michigan not too far from the Lansing area. Joe's Gizzard City is a unique and novel Restaurant that serves Chicken, Burgers, Burritos, French Fries, and a lot of other Pub Grub style food. Joe's Gizzard city has been featured on Food Channel's Diner, Drive-ins, and Dives. They have there own style batter that they use on most of their Fried foods that seem to be a hit among the Locals. I for one did not care for their style of Fried Chicken and I prefer to have a breaded crust that adheres to the meat, whereas Joe's Gizzard City Beer Batter lifts away from the meat and forms a steamy hot pocket between the meat and the crust.

Whether you like their Beer Battered style of Fried Chicken or not, Joe's Gizzard City is worth a visit. It is a unique spot and they serve Burgers and several other Menu items. Gizzards are obviously their specialty, and they attract Gizzard lovers from all over the country. Joe's Gizzard City sponsors a Gizzard Fest which over takes the City of Potterville every year. Besides an Obvious Gizzard Eating Contest, the Gizzard Fest has dancing, Beer, contests and rides. The Gizzard Fest is usually held in early June.
