Glass House Seafood Restaurant is an established local Seafood Restaurant that is conveniently located off of I-95 in Walterboro, SC. The Glass House Restaurant is a traditional Restaurant that serves a variety of Seafood, Chicken, Beef, and Pork Dishes. The Restaurant is large and also offers private dining for meetings. There is also a Bar on the premises. The Bar is separate from the Restaurant and very small, but cozy.

The Glass House Seafood Restaurant is a nice place to go to eat Seafood. I visited the Restaurant recently, and I heard they had a nice Salad Bar. Unfortunately, I learned that they no longer offer the Salad Bar. I asked the Waitress about it, and she told me they were losing money on it, so they stopped it. The Menu at the Glass House Seafood Restaurant is extensive and includes a large variety of Seafood like Oysters on the half shell, topped with spinach, and Fried Oyster Platters. They also have Peel and Eat Shrimp, Salmon, Catfish, Crab, Scallops, and combo Platters. The Menu also includes Beef Tenderloin, Filet Mignon, and several other dishes. The Glass house Seafood Restaurant also Nightly Specials each night. Specials include Medallions of Beef Tenderloin Diane, Tilapia with Capers, Shrimp and Grits, and Sautéed Boneless Pork Loin to name a few. The Glass House Seafood Restaurant also offers Early Bird Specials between 5 - 7 pm. Friday Nights are Prime Rib with Au Jus night.

The food is good and the portion sizes at Glass house Seafood Restaurant are large. I ordered the Combo Platter. You get a Choice of two of the following Seafood items: Oysters, Shrimp, Flounder, Catfish, Scallops, and Deviled Crab. I ordered the Catfish and Scallops. The food was very good. I only wished that they didn't put so much Paprika on the Scallops.

The Glass house Seafood Restaurant is worth a stop particularly if you are passing through on I-95 and you are looking for a decent sit down meal. Just take Exit 53. You can't miss it.
