Goose Creek was officially established in 1961, but the History dates back to Colonial times when the Indian traders called the Goose Creek Men settled and traded by a stream called Goose Creek. Goose Creek is continually growing and incorporating many of the outlying Berkeley County Rural areas nearby.

Most of the Bars are Private Clubs where you need to be a member. There are a few places you can go to get a drink that do not require membership if you look hard enough.
