The Iron Works BBQ Restaurant is located in downtown Austin and provides a wonderful variety of Barbecue selections on the Menu. Before I came to the Iron Works BBQ, I didn't think it was possible to find decent Barbecue in Texas, or at least the kind I like, but the IWB changed my view point after I and several colleagues of mine ate there one night. Iron Works BBQ claims to serve Official Texas Barbecue.

The setting in the Iron Works BBQ Restaurant is rustic. There is even an old license plate used as a floor patch in the dining room. There are also a lot of antique Iron Work tools and memorabilia near the entrance as you walk in. The Barbecue is ordered at a counter where you pick it up and carry it to the register. After paying for it, you can dine in or take it with you. Iron Works BBQ also offers Catering and online ordering, and they will ship it to you.

I tried the Pork Ribs Barbecue Plate and the Barbecue Beef Ribs when I dined at the Iron Works BBQ Restaurant. The flavor was excellent, and the meat fell right off the bone. The Iron Works also offers a few Barbecue Sauces that I found to be tasty. The food was so good, I over indulged and left there full to the point of misery. The Barbecue Plates come with a side of Potato Salad which was very good, a side of Beans, and a slice of white bread. I dined at the IWB with 6 other folks and everyone enjoyed their meal. The Menu at the Iron Works BBQ includes other items such as Smoked Pork Loin, Chopped Beef, Original Smoked Sausage, Chicken, Ham, and Turkey Barbecue Plates. They also have all of these selections by the pound, and offer Sandwiches, Family Take Out packages, Chili, and a Salad Bar

I recommend the Iron Works BBQ Restaurant in Downtown Austin, Texas. The Food is excellent, the service is fast and friendly, and you get your money's worth.
