J. L. Trents Seafood Grill

J.L Trent's Seafood & Grill is a local Jacksonville Seafood Restaurant with three locations in the Jacksonville area. I go to the Midtown Yukon location near NAS Jacksonville. The atmosphere is nautically oriented and the Seafood is very good indeed. The wait staff are also friendly and the food comes out without much of a wait. The "Midtown Yukon" restaurant is located just off of Roosevelt Blvd on 120th St in an area called Yukon Station Community. There isn't much to see there, but I was told they used to have their own Post Office. There is a Tavern there called Murray's Tavern that claims it is in "Uptown Yukon". I haven't visited Murray's Tavern yet, but I heard they had good fish fry's there. When I visit the area, I usually go to J. L. Trent's Seafood & Grill at least once for Lunch and get the Lunch Seafood Combo. You get a choice of two Seafood items with the Seafood Combo. I always get the Crab Cakes and Scallops. The Crab Cakes may very well be the best I have ever eaten, and the Scallops are very tasty too. The Lunch Seafood Combo also comes with two sides. All Lunch Plates come with hushpuppies and they also give the table some of their signature Shrimp Dip and crackers to nibble on while you wait for your entree. Add a glass of sweet tea and the bill is only $10.70 plus tip. Not a bad deal at all.

J. L. Trent's Seafood & Grill also provides a Senior Menu for the over 55 crowd with discounted Seafood and other items such as chicken dishes. They also have other Menu items for the Kids if they are picky about eating Seafood, so they can get a corndog or hamburger or even pizza. I recommend J. L. Trent's Seafood & Grill's out of the way "Midtown Yukon" location for a good Seafood meal in the Jacksonville Florida area.
