Kelly's Barbeque is a well known and established All-you-can-eat Barbeque Restaurant located in Summerville, South Carolina. They have been around since 1977, and they are a Low Country favorite. Only open on Wednesday through Saturday nights, Kelly's Barbeque makes up for it with a good size crowd during those nights they are open. The decor is Country from the Country Kitchen tables lined up in rows, to the light fixtures that are made from steel washtubs. They also have old Country relics in there like an old washing machine with manual ringer. The over all look is clean and bright and decidedly Country.

Kelly's Barbeque is an all-you-can-eat Barbeque Buffet. It is a little pricey at $9.00 but the food is outstanding with many items to choose from such as Pulled Barbeque Pork, Fried Catfish, and Barbeque Chicken as the main entrees. The Buffet also has a myriad of other dishes from Catfish stew, hash, okra soup, Mac N cheese, fried okra, corn on-the-cob, hush puppies, and the list goes on. The Buffet also has plenty of desserts like pies and cakes, and includes soft serve ice cream.

I found Kelly's Barbeque food to be very tasty. They have several Barbeque sauces you can use too. I went with their mild Barbeque sauce. It was excellent. The Pulled Pork was obviously slow-roasted and smoked and it had an excellent taste to it. Actually, everything that I tried was very good. One item that stands out also is the Catfish stew. It had a good flavor with a little bit of a kick to it. The collard greens were well prepared and just the way I like them too.

Kelly's Barbeque also caters in or off the premises and has a Take Out menu also.

so, if you find yourself in the Low country and like Barbeque, try out Kelly's Barbeque. But remember, they are only open Wednesday through Saturday.
