The Log Cabin Restaurant is a unique Family Restaurant located in Baraboo, Wisconsin. The Restaurant is built somewhat like a large Log Cabin, and is rustically decorated to match with Wood Carvings and Glass Etchings in the walls and ceiling depicting animals, birds, and fish, as well as Wood Carved statues like the one that greets you at the door shown in the picture below. The Log Cabin Restaurant has a homey feel to it, and the meals are Homestyle.

The Log Cabin Restaurant Menu has a lot of Homestyle Meals to offer with daily Dinner Specials. The Menu also offers the Meals in a lighter version, and also has a Senior Section and a Kid's Section so everyone is covered. The Meals are huge! Even the lighter version Meals have a lot to eat. The Dinners come with a choice or Roll or Cranberry Bread and choice of sides depending upon the regular Meal or the lighter version. The Meals at the Log Cabin Restaurant are very filling, well prepared, and taste good.
The choices offered on the Log Cabin Restaurant Menu include Homestyle Meals such as Meat Loaf, Turkey, Pot Roast Beef, Chopped Steak, Liver & Onions, Chicken & Dumplings, Chicken Pot Pie and others. The Log Cabin Restaurant also offers a Fish Fry on Friday Nights. They also serve Breakfast and Lunch too.
I tried the Meat Loaf - light version when I visted the Log Cabin Restaurant. It came with two slabs of Meat, Mash Potatoes, and a vegetable. The Meal was excellent, and I did not leave the Log Cabin Restaurant hungry.
