Luciano Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria is a quaint Italian Restaurant located in The Dulles Park Shopping Center in Herndon, Virginia. The Restaurant is beautifully decorated with hanging plants and Chianti bottles on the ceiling and a small Bar. The atmosphere is light and airy, with medium colored Tables and Bar. Italian Music is piped in at a decent level too. Luciano Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria also offers Carry Out, Delivery, and Catering.

Luciano Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria is a small Northern Virginia Restaurant Chain with four locations. I only visited the Herndon location, and it is this Luciano Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria that I am writing this review about. The Restaurant is a little small, and offers a few tables outside too.

The Menu at Luciano Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria is extensive. Selections include Handmade New York Pizza, Sicilian Pizza, Calzones, Sub Sandwiches and Panini, Appetizers, Soups, Salads, Vegetarian entrees, Seafood, Chicken, Pasta dishes, Veal, and Steak entrees. When I visited Luciano Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria, I tried the Baked Ziti. All entrees come with a house Salad and Homemade Bread. The Ziti came out piping hot, covered with bubbly Mozzarella Cheese and served on a platter, not a baking dish. The portion was large too. The Ziti was pretty tasty, but I prefer a little more Ricotta Cheese than what Luciano served. It was still very good, and I enjoyed it just the same. The Homemade Bread wasn't something I expected at an Italian Restaurant. Instead of the Crusty Italian Bread with a fluffy soft center, Luciano Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria Bread was more like Sour Dough.

If you like Italian Food, Luciano Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria serves respectable Italian Cuisine. It is a nice place to dine in the Herndon, Virginia area.
