Miller’s Bar-B-Q, not to be confused with the Bill Miller’s Texas Bar-B-Q Restaurant chain, is a Corpus Christi area
Bar-B-Q Restaurant. There are 3 of them. I visited the one located on Airline Road. The atmosphere is basically
generic and unremarkable, and there were no Barbeque sauces to be found on the tables except for Louisiana Hot Sauce.
Miller’s Bar-B-Q has a serving line for eating in, and a separate counter for take out where you can call in and
pick up your food. When I went there for dinner, I was greeted quickly and politely. This is a fresh change from
the lack of politeness and customer service that is prevalent back home in Charleston at most Restaurants there.
I ordered the Quarter Chicken Platter. It came with 2 sides. I got the Black Eye Peas, and German Potato Salad.
The price was reasonable, and the Chicken was pretty good, but I wished that I had some Barbeque Sauce to put on
it. The Black Eyed Peas were cooked with bacon and had a good flavor to it. The German Potato Salad had a nice
vinegar taste to it too, but seemed to be over cooked and a bit mushy.
Miller’s Bar-B-Q is a good Barbeque Restaurant, but it is not remarkable enough to be above the many other Barbeque places I have eaten
throughout the country. For Texas, it definitely beats the Bill Miller Bar-B-Q Chain by far.
