Moose's Famous BBQ is a quaint Barbeque Buffet Restaurant located on the outskirts of Moncks Corner, South Carolina on US Highway 17A on the way to Summerville. Dining in at Moose's Famous BBQ is Buffet only, but they do offer Carry Out Plates. Dining in is all you can eat at a good price.

Moose's Famous BBQ Highlights

Moose's Famous BBQ offers a variety of Foods and several types of Meats on the Buffet. Upon entering Moose's Famous BBQ, a nice Smokey aroma greets you. Behind the serving line is a sign that reads "If you don't smell smoke, the BBQ is a joke." When I went there I made a pig of myself and tried several of the different Meats they had to offer. There are also choices of vegetable, Mac & Cheese, Rice, Hash, several Casseroles, and Biscuits. I loved the Chopped Pork at Moose's Famous BBQ the best. They have 3 sauces to choose from: Hot which is very hot and is Vinegar based; Mustard based which is sweet; and a sweet red sauce which is Vinegar based and has a good flavor and kick to it. They also have Polish Sausage, Pork Tenderloin, Beef Brisket, Chicken Tenders, and BBQ Chicken Breast. Moose's Famous BBQ did not have Collards the night I visited, but they did have some wonderful Butter Beans that were seasoned perfectly.

Moose's Famous BBQ is only open Thursday through Sunday. I recommend them for a Family Dinner out that won't kill your wallet.
