North Park Grill is one of my favorite North Charleston Sports Bars. It is located in the Otranto Shopping Center in North Charleston. If you like to Shoot a Game of Pool, play NTN Trivia, or watch Sports on TV, then this is the place to go in North Charleston. Everyone is friendly, and most of the bartenders are fun and friendly. When I lived in Hanahan, I was often seen there playing NTN Trivia and sipping a cold bottle of Heineken. North Park Grill also has Beer on Tap, but unfortunately they no longer serve draft Heineken. Big Bummer.

North Park Grill pulls in the young Pool Playing crowd, but seems to be catering less and less to the older crowd. I started going to North Park Grill since it was called Jimmy's Pub back in 1998. When it was Jimmy's Pub, the place used to be 3 deep at the bar every Thursday night without fail, and Fridays and Saturdays had big crowds too with about 2 deep at the Bar. North Park Grill isn't at that level. There are always people enjoying Pool Games, and North Park Grill is the largest American Pool-Players Association (APA) sponsor in the Charleston, SC area. They have APA Pool Leagues every night.

But Pool Games aren't the only thing North Park Grill has to offer. They also provide Buzztime NTN Trivia and QB1 Football. I am a big fan of this free Trivia game. There are several of us that play, and if you look at the leader board, you will see that some of us have been playing Trivia for quite a while. NTN Trivia is addicting, and they have several Trivia games to keep it fresh. Whenever I am at North Park Grill, I also get a Trivia game box as I suck down suds for hours.

So wait, you do not care about Pool Games or NTN Trivia you say? Then you can watch Sports on TV too. There are over 20 TVs in the place, and there are also plenty of games to choose from. North Park Grill has the Direct TV Sports package, so you can watch whatever Sports on TV that you desire.

North Park Grill also has a kitchen that closes around 11:00 PM. They serve the usual Pub Grub type food you would expect in a Sports Bar, and run specials every now and then.

If you're looking for a happening Sports Bar to play a Pool Game, NTN Trivia, or watch Sports on TV. North Park Grill is a good place to go.

It is a bit tricky to get to North Park Grill if you aren't a local. If you are coming from Rivers Avenue, You need to turn onto Otranto Blvd, then make a left onto North Park Blvd (Behind the gas station). Proceed to North Park Extension and make a left. Make a right into Otranto Shopping Center at the Piggly Wiggly.
