The Old Buggy Buffet Restaurant is located on Plaza Drive in Bedford, Indiana. The Old Buggy Buffet has a large variety of country food on the Buffet tables. I was very impressed with the selection and the quality of the food. The name and look of the Old Buggy Buffet Restaurant has an Amish feel to it, but it isn't Amish at all. However, the food is down home country style cooking that is reasonably priced. The decor is a little bit country, simple and very open, they even have an Old Buggy in the Restaurant.

Old Buggy Buffet Restaurant Highlights

  • All You Can Eat Buffet


When I dined there, they had a huge spread. The items on the Buffet included Fried Chicken, Meat Loaf, Pot Roast, Chicken and Dumplings, Pulled Pork BBQ, Italian Sausage with Peppers and Onions, & Ham. They also had a wide assortment of vegetables like Collard Greens, corn, and peas. There was also a good sized salad bar, fruit bar and desert bar including soft serve ice cream. I sampled the Fried Chicken. It was very good and had a tasty "scab' on it. The Chicken and Dumplings were definitely country and hearty too. The collard greens were cooked with chunks of ham, but I found that they used a lit too much vinegar in them.
