Pinto's Southwest Steakhouse and Pinto's Pub is located on Highway 37 in Bedford, Indiana.
It is a very charming and inviting place alongside the highway just on the outskirts of Bedford. They specialize in Southwestern
Style Food, but the Menu is widely varied and includes basic Americana Food like regular Steaks and sandwiches. Pinto's Southwest
Steakhouse also includes Seafood like Crab Legs, fried Jumbo Shrimp, Salmon, Halibut, and Lobster Tail. They also have a Kid Friendly Menu
for those picky eaters. Pinto's Pub is in the back. The Pub is a very small room with a couple of TVs, a Juke Box, and a Bar that
seats about 10 or so. The Pub also has a few booths and tables and serves as the Restaurant's smoking area. Overall, Pinto's Southwest Steakhouse
and Pinto's Pub is a very clean and friendly Restaurant, and the food is excellent in taste and price.
I dined in Pinto's Pub and ordered the Southwest Chicken Breast. It was very tasty. It comes smothered in
bell peppers, jalapenos, onions, and a Southwest seasoned gravy. It was a delicious combination of flavors. All of the entrees at Pinto's Southwest
Steakhouse come with a house salad, a dinner roll, and a choice of baked potato, seasoned vegetables, or rice. The prices of the entrees are reasonable
too. The bill for the Southwest Chicken Breast with a Large Coke came to $13 and change. The portion was big, and I went away satisfied.
While I sat in the Pub and ate my dinner, the owner was working the Bar. He was friendly, attentive, and readily
engaged the customers in conversation. The wait staff was friendly, and I did not wait long for my meal. Pinto's Pub has a few Beers on tap, and a
large selection of domestic and imported Beers in the bottle or can too. Imports are from all over, but they do have a good assortment of Mexican
Beers like Tecate, Sol, Negra Modelo and Modelo Especial, Dos Equis, and Pacifico.
I recommend Pinto's Southwest Steakhouse for lunch or dinner. Keep in mind that the Restaurant and Pinto's Pub
closes early - 9:00 pm.
