Pizza Roma is a New York Style Pizza Restaurant located on Dorchester Road in North Charleston, SC. The Restaurant has that old time Diner look on the outside, but there are no Diner style booths on the inside. Instead there are wooden tables throughout, and in some instances, they are cramped. Overall, Pizza Roma is a tiny place.

The Menu at Pizza Roma covers Pizza, Salads, Stromboli, Calzone, Sandwiches, Burgers, Cold Subs, and Appetizers. For the most part, Pizza Roma serves and delivers NY Style Pizza. I tried the Pizza at Pizza Roma, and although it looks like New York Style Pizza, that is where the similarity ends. Yes the Pizza is a thin crust and chewy dough Pizza, but I found the sauce to be bland, and I do not believe the Mozzarella is authentic. There are other New York Style Pizza Restaurants in and around North Charleston that come much closer to the taste of Pizza you can find up north. In my opinion, Pizza Roma misses the mark

Pizza Roma Pizza isn't terrible, it just isn't the New York Style Pizza that I grew up eating and loving.
