Sal's Pizzeria & Stromboli is a little Pizzeria located on Volvo Pkwy in Chesapeake, Virginia. The Pizza is in the New York Neapolitan Tradition which is a thin chewy crust with a sweet tomato sauce and fine Mozzarella Cheese, but Sal's Pizzeria & Stromboli misses the mark a bit. The crust is thin and somewhat chewy, and could have been cooked a little longer, maybe, but the Sauce was rather bland.

Sal's Pizzeria & Stromboli offers a variety of Pizzas including White Pizza, Hawaiian Pizza, and Sicilian Square Pizza which is a thick type of Pizza. You can order Pizza by the slice and can choose from a variety of toppings as well. The Menu at Sal's Pizzeria & Stromboli also offers Stromboli & Calzones, a large assortment of Hoagies that include choices such as Roast Beef & Cheese, Tuna & Cheese, Salami & Cheese, Canadian Bacon & Cheese, Meatball Parmigiana, Sausage Parmigiana, Chicken Parmigiana, Philly Steak & Cheese, and many more. There are Salads, Appetizers, and entrees that are served with a side of Spaghetti. Entrees at Sal's Pizzeria & Stromboli include Chicken Marsala, Veal Parmigiana, Chicken Cacciatori, Many Pasta dishes and Italian specialties like Baked Ziti, Fettuccine Alfredo and much much more.

I only tried the Pizza at Sal's Pizzeria & Stromboli, and as mentioned, I wasn't terribly impressed. I have had much worse, but I have also had much better. I may go back and try an Entree next time, and if I do, I will update this article.
