Sam's St. John's Seafood Restaurant Highlights
Sam's St. John's Seafood Restaurant claims to have "Killer Seafood" and to be "Florida's Best." Well, the food is good, but I can't go as far as to say they are Florida's Best Seafood Restaurant. Sam's St. John's Seafood Restaurant has a good sized Menu full of Seafood choices including Broiled, Fried, or Blackened Fish such as Mahi Mahi, Flounder, Pollock, and Catfish. The Menu also includes Lobster Bites, Gator Tail, and Frog Legs for the exotic. There are also the usual choices like Shrimp, Scallops, Crab Cakes, and Alaskan Snow Crab Legs. Sam's St. John's Seafood Restaurant also offers non seafood items like Ribs, Grilled Chicken Breast, and New York Strip Steaks. There is also a Kid's Menu at Sam's St. John's Seafood Restaurant too that offers Fried Shrimp, Bite Sized Shrimp, Fried Chicken Strips, Corn Dogs, Fish Filet, and Mac n' Cheese. There is also a reduced price senior's Menu too.
I tried the Blackened Mahi Mahi when I visited Sam's St. John's Seafood Restaurant. The Fish was tender and moist, but the Blacken seasoning was a little on the lite side. Each plate comes with a choice of two sides and hush puppies. The hush puppies are very good, and the vegetables were cooked well too.
Sam's St. John's Seafood Restaurant in Orange Park, Florida is a decent Seafood Restaurant and I do recommend them for dinner or lunch.
