San Vito Ristorante Italiano Highlights
San Vito Ristorante Italiano has two Restaurant locations. One in Springfield, VA, and the one that this Review is about, Herndon. They have a large Wine list, and a good size Menu. Items on the Menu include Appetizers such as Bruschetta, Calamari Fritti, Calamari Grigliati, and a couple Mozzarella dishes. Entree items include dishes like Pollo al Parmigiana, Pollo alla Marsala, Ravioli, Rigotoni, several Veal dishes, Steaks, and Fish dishes. There is also a Kid's Menu.
When I dined at San Vito Ristorante Italiano, I ordered the Baked Ziti alla Paesana. The portion wasn't huge, but the flavor was very very good. The Baked Ziti alla Paesana is baked with Ricotta Cheese, Meat Sauce, Parmesan Cheese and topped with Mozzarella Cheese. I absolutely loved it! The colleague I dined with ordered the Vitello Parmigiana. The Veal was lightly breaded, thin and tender baked with Tomato Sauce, Basil, and Mozzarella Cheese and served with Angel Hair Pasta & Alfredo Sauce. The Veal also had a slice of Red Tomato on top of both cutlets. It looked pretty good, and my colleague mentioned that it was delicious. Each table is also served a basket of Bread and a grteen Pesto Sauce. The Bread wasn't the type that I am accustomed to in fine Italian Restaurants though. Our meal with two glasses of Pinot Noir & one glass of House Chianti came to $49.00. Not bad for the style and quality of the Food.
San Vito Ristorante Italiano Motto is "Good Food, Good Wine, Good People. Life, as it should be!" I recommend a visit to San Vito if you like good Italian Food. San Vito Ristorante Italiano also Caters and has Take Out.
