Strawberry Muffins are great for dunking in your Coffee or just plain eating them for Breakfast or a Snack. It is hard to nail down the History of
Muffins due to they are a Bread concoction, and Bread has been around for thousands of years; however, the Cup Cake Style American Muffin first showed up in the 19th Century which was drastically different from the English Style Muffins
that migrated to our Country. Here is a Recipe for an American Style
Strawberry Muffin. Enjoy.
BATTER INGREDIENTS
TOPPING INGREDIENTS
DIRECTIONS

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees |

Grease bottom of 12 medium size Muffin Cups |
| 3. |
Combine Flour, Sugar, Baking Powder & Salt in a large bowl |
| 4. |
In a separate bowl, whisk Egg, Milk & Oil and then add to the Dry Mixture stirring until just moist |

Gently stir in Strawberries. |
| 6. |
Spoon the batter into the
greased Muffin cups, filling each cup to no more than 2/3 full. |

Combine the Topping ingredients and sprinkle over each Muffin cup. |

Bake until golden brown about 20 - 25 minutes. |
