Tenichi Steak House is a Japanese Hibachi Grill Steak House located in Goose Creek, SC. This Japanese Steak House is not the kind where the Chef prepares your meal at the table. At Tenichi Steak House they prepare it in the kitchen and serve it to you. The food is similar to other Japanese Steak Houses, but without the show.

At Tenichi Steak House you are seated at your own table, and you do not have to wait for other strangers to join you like they do at the traditional Japanese Steak Houses. That's because there is no Entertainment while they cook your food. Those types of Restaurants are fun, but if you don't care about the show, and you are in a hurry, Tenichi Steak House style dining is for you. I found that the service at Tenichi Steak House was fast and courteous. From the time we placed our order it took about 10 minutes before we had our food in front of us. The portions were large and came with Vegetables, and Fried Rice, and just like the showy Japanese Restaurants, it was almost too much food. The prices are also reasonable.
The Menu at Tenichi Steak House includes Hibachi Dinners Plates and Combination Plates with choices of Chicken, Shrimp, Steak, Filet Mignon, Scallops, Vegetables, and more. They also offer Sushi. When I go to Tenichi Steak House I usually order the Shrimp & Filet Mignon Combination Platter. It comes with Fried Rice. Most of the time it is pretty good, but my last visit was a disappointment. The vegetables were few and over cooked, and I question if the Beef served was really Filet Mignon. It was very blubbery. I also order the Sour Apple Sake, which is warm and excellent. Tenichi Steal House offers a variety of Flavor infused Sakes to choose from, and on Friday they offer $3.00 Sake all night.
Tenichi Steak House offers Dine In, Take Out and Catering. I like Tenichi Steak House for a fast Hibachi Grill Dinner at a reasonable price in Goose Creek, SC, but one more bad meal will drive me a way.
