I took a recent trip to Eastern Tennessee and visited a few Mom & Pop Restaurants while I was there that you can read about by clicking on Review Articles
listed on the right. I mostly spent my time in and around Cleveland Tennessee, which is a little North of
Chattanooga.
The scenery in Eastern Tennessee is beautiful from the rolling foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains to the Great Smoky Mountains themselves. Eastern
Tennessee has a lot to offer too. Ruby Falls and Dollywood to name a couple places are there, which provide good family entertainment for the whole family. Eastern
Tennessee is also regarded as the birthplace of Country Music.
People in Eastern Tennessee are a very Patriotic bunch too. There are plenty of Veteran Groups like the American Legion in the area. I visited Post 81 in Cleveland
for their Annual 40 & 8 Hillbilly Wreck in March. Folks from as far away as Ohio & Kansas made the trek to this event. I also learned about a young Cleveland native named Kaylee
Radzyminski. Kaylee is 15 years old and is the founder of Tunes 4 the Troops. She is overseeing the collection and distribution of Music CDs, Movie DVDs, and Books on CD to
Troops serving overseas. Patriotism seems to start at a very young age here. If you would like to help her out, please visit her website.
