The Chef Fast Food Restaurant is a Mom & Pop, one of a kind, Fast Food
Restaurant located in Cleveland, Tennessee. Formerly known as the
Burger Chef, The Chef has been around
for decades and is a local favorite. They serve Breakfast, Lunch, and
Dinner, and is reminiscent of the old time style walk up Restaurants of the
1950s.
The Chef Fast Food Restaurant has limited seating inside, and a Patio area if you would like to eat outside. They also have a
drive-thru window if you are on-the-go. I like the Chef Fast Food Restaurant. Cheryl and I were in the mood for Breakfast one Saturday and did
not want to eat the usual Fast Food like McDonald's, Burger King, or
Hardee's, so we drove around and found The Chef by chance. I ordered a Country Ham & Egg Biscuit and Coffee, and
Cheryl ordered the Gravy Biscuit. Our review is mixed on the
food. My Country Ham & Egg Biscuit was about 3 1/2 inches in
diameter with a good size slab of Country Ham and a fluffy Egg.
It was very tasty. Cheryl expected to get Sausage in the Gravy
Biscuit, but did not get any. I think this was by design,
because the Menu item is called a Gravy Biscuit, and it was very
cheap at $1.39. Where we come from, a Gravy Biscuit is
expected to have Sausage in it though, so she was disapointed.
She also said it was a bit bland.
The Chef also has Breakfast Platters. and a good Sandwich & Hoagie menu for Lunch and Dinner.
