Theio's Restaurant

Theio's Restaurant is an excellent Mom & Pop Restaurant that serves Breakfast anytime. Theio's is located on Michigan Avenue between the Capitol and Michigan State University Campus.  In the front, Theio's has an Atrium seating area where you can enjoy a meal in the sunshine.  The rest of the Restaurant is in a comfortable and charming setting that has an eclectic mix of Country, Americana, and Nautical decor. Overall, Theio's is a very nicely decorated Restaurant.

The wait staff are very friendly, prompt, and attentive.  We were seated quickly, and it only took about 5 minutes to get our Breakfast after ordering it.  The portions are large.  I ordered the eggs with Corned Beef Hash and Hash Browns.  Everything was hot, and I had trouble eating it all.  The Coffee is typical of the Coffee found in Michigan - so-so.  Although the Coffee was hot, just like every other cup of Coffee I found in Michigan, it was also weak.  I guess that's the way they like their Coffee in Michigan.

Cheryl and I found Theio's Restaurant to be an excellent dining experience.  We enjoyed the overall feel of the Restaurant, as well as the friendliness, prompt service, and quality of food that we gave Theio's Restaurant a BTF Award. We recommend that you visit them for Breakfast.
