The Mill Highlights
Cheryl and I met a couple of our friends there to eat. The Menu is a bit limited, but the food isn't bad. The kitchen is very tiny, and I would say if any more than two people were in there at one time, they wouldn't be able to get anything done. The Menu consists of Pub Grub items like Quesadillas, Sandwiches, hot dogs, and barbeque Sandwiches. I ordered the Meatball sub Sandwich. It came with lots of tomato sauce and was covered with mozzarella cheese. It was excellent. The prices aren't bad either. The Bar staff and the clientele were also very friendly. All of us enjoyed our meals, and had no complaints.
The Mill Bar has an assortment of things to do. If you like to Play a Game of Pool, they have two Pool Tables, and The Mill is one of the North Charleston Bars that sponsor APA Pool Leagues. They also have a Dart Board, a Bar-top Video Game, and a Foosball Table.
I classify The Mill as a Dive Bar, but do not misunderstand me, it is a nice clean place, it just doesn't have a lot of glitz, and that's okay. Oddly enough, the Charleston City Paper gave The Mill a Best Bathroom Award recently. I can understand why too. The men's room was very clean and nicely decorated.
For Entertainment, The Mill offers Open Mic Night on Mondays, and they bring in Live Bands from time to time. Overall, the Mill is a good place to hang out, Play a Game of Pool, and have a bite to eat.
