The Gurnee, IL location is less than a year old. It used to be the Monkey Dish Bar & Grill. It is conveniently located near 6 Flags Amusement Park, and in front of the Hampton Inn, which makes it very convenient for folks to walk to Timothy O'Toole's Pub if you are staying at the Motel. Timothy O'Toole's Pub is a comfortable Bar to watch sports on TV, play Trivia, and enjoy a Beer. They proudly advertise that they offer 16 Whiskeys, 19 Scotches, and 19 Beers on Tap. The Beers on Tap selections have a few unique products that aren't found in a most Pubs. Selections range from basic Domestic Beers like Bud Light and the like, but there are a few interesting selections like Delirium Tremens which is a Belgium Styled Strong Ale with an 8.5% ABV kick. Timothy O'Toole's Pub also offers Hacker Pschorr Weisse, a German wheat Beer from Bavaria, Stella Artois, Fat Tire, and much more. Timothy O'Toole's Pub also offers NTN Buzztime Trivia, and they have a few Video Games. On Wednesday Nights they have Karaoke too. Timothy O'Toole's Pub is very popular, especially on Karaoke night.
I did not eat at the Timothy O'Toole's Pub, so I cannot comment on their food, but they have a Restaurant side where you can have dinner. Timothy O'Toole's Pub also offers a Kid's Eat Free on Tuesday, and they bring in a Balloon Artist. Also on Friday they have a Magician. The Menu has selections like Salads, Appetizers, Sandwiches, and Entrees like Pub Fish & Chips, Meatloaf, Roasted Chicken, Corned Beef and Cabbage, and much more. On Saturday & Sundays Timothy O'Toole's Pub offers a Brunch & Bloody Mary Bar also.
I recommend Timothy O'Toole's Pub for Dinner & Drinks, and it is perfect for the weary Business Traveler to unwind, and enjoy NTN Buzztime Trivia or Karaoke on Wednesday.
