Tortoise & Hare Bar & Grille is a new place located on 23rd Street in the Crystal City section of Arlington, Virginia. Crystal City is a suburb of Washington DC. The Tortoise & Hare Bar & Grille use to be the American Bar. It is an elegant and quiet place to have drinks or dinner. I have not tried the food there yet, but I did stop in for drinks. I found the Tortoise & Hare Bar & Grille to have friendly bartenders and the service was very good as well. If you just want to get away to a quet place and have intimate conversation, then the Tortoise & Hare is a good place to go.

The Tortoise & Hare has a large dinning room and the Bar is pretty good size too. The Tortoise & Hare serves several beers on tap as well as bottled beers, wine, and well drinks. They also have a few televisions and offer NTN Trivia. The televisions that they use for the NTN Trivia are very small, and I had a hard time reading the words on the screen from the vantage point that I had while I visited. The bartenders were readily available and engaged us in conversation and laughs. We enjoyed ourselves when we visited, but the Tortoise & Hare also provides a lot more on other nights. On Tuesday Nights they have Wii Bowling Night, and on Mondays they have Movie nights where you can actually call in and make a request for your party. They also have Live Entertainment occasionally.

Overall, the Tortoise & Hare Bar & Grille is a nice venue in Crystal City for drinks, NTN Trivia and other varied entertainment.
