Triangle Char & Bar
Triangle Char & Bar is a Restaurant located on the happening corner of Savannah Highway & Magnolia Road in Charleston. On this corner there are several Bars & Restaurants that are conducive to a night of Bar hopping and dining if you are so inclined. I am so inclined, and I plan to visit this corner again and provide some articles and reviews in the future. The Triangle Char & Bar Restaurant is right on the corner and hard to miss. The Triangle Char & Bar is a popular place that the locals like to stop at after work for a bite to eat and to have drinks with friends. The Triangle Char & Bar is a charming place with outside dining, a Bar that is partially outside, and an interior dining room that is elegant.

Triangle Char & Bar Highlights
We visited the Triangle Char & Bar one night to get a Steak. Parking was a little difficult, but we managed to get a spot and decided to sit outside on the Patio. The service was very slow, and we must of waited about 7 or 8 minutes before we saw our waiter. I ordered the 8 oz Filet with the Mushroom Demi pictured. The Filet came with two sides. I ordered the Side Salad and the Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes. After a considerable wait, my food was delivered. The Filet was good, but the Mushroom Demi was very strong and a bit overpowering. Also, the Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes were almost room temperature. I was truly disappointed with this meal, and the size and price of the meal was disappointing as well. Cheryl ordered the NY Strip with the Mushroom Demi and she had the same comment about the Mushroom Demi as well.
I noticed that the Bar was very nice with several Beers on Tap including my favorite - Heineken. The people that I saw having drinks with friends all seem to be enjoying themselves. I think when I return to this corner, I will probably start my Bar hopping adventure at Triangle Char & Bar for a few beers, but I will definitely eat dinner somewhere else.
