Super Buffet is located on the West Bank across the Mississippi River from New Orleans on General De Gaulle Drive. To get there, take Hwy 90 Business West over the Mississippi River Bridge and take the first exit and follow signs to General De Gaulle Drive. Super Buffet is on the right immediately past the Chuck E. Cheese. The name does not do this place justice. This is the absolute best Chinese Buffet I have ever seen. In addition to the regular fare you would expect on a Chinese Buffet such as Fried Rice, Beef and Broccoli etc, you will also find blue crab, oysters on the half-shell, medium to large size steamed shrimp, and a large assortment of fish. Everything was fresh too. I went there for lunch, and the Buffet with a glass of sweet tea cost me $8.55 plus tip. The atmosphere is elegant and can probably hold 200 or more people. For the price and assortment that you get, I wonder if they can make a profit. I hope they stay in business. The food is wonderful! This is a very clean place and I highly recommend it.
