Willie Jewell's Old School Bar-B-Q is a brand new Barbecue Restaurant located on Hwy 78 in North Charleston, SC. This is the first location of the brand new Fast Casual BBQ Restaurant owned by Bono's Pit Bar-B-Q chain. I don't normally write about chain Restaurants, but Willie Jewell's Old School Bar-B-Q in North Charleston is the very first Restaurant (and only location at the time of this Review) in existence, so I think it worth a Review.

Willie Jewell's Old School Bar-B-Q is capitalizing on the new Fast Casual BBQ Market, and attempt at keeping food costs down while serving quality Barbecue Food items. Willie Jewell's Old School Bar-B-Q indeed does serve quality Barbecue. Menu items on Willie Jewell's Old School Bar-B-Q includes Sandwiches of Barbecue Pork, Beef, Turkey, or Sausage. There are also Supper choices on the Menu that include Barbecue Pork, Beef, Turkey, a Combination of two, and Southern Style St. Louis Ribs. Willie Jewell's Old School Bar-B-Q also offers Salads, Desserts, and a Kid's Menu that includes Chicken Tenders and a Kid's BBQ Sandwich. Each of the Supper items includes a choice of sides. Side choices include Baked Beans, Green Beans, Cole Slaw, fries, Mac N' cheese and a Side of the Day.

When I visited Willie Jewell's Old School Bar-B-Q, I ordered the Pork Supper with a side of Baked Beans. The Barbecue was outstanding. They also offer three types of Sauces to choose from. I went with the spicy Sauce. The helping of Barbecue was generous, and the flavor was excellent. I did not care for the Baked Beans though. The staff were friendly, and the Restaurant was clean.

I recommend Willie Jewell's Old School Bar-B-Q Restaurant in North Charleston, and I look forward to visiting other locations as Bono's Pit Bar-B-Q moves forward with this Fast Casual Bar-B-Q Restaurant concept.
