Wing's Neighborhood Bar & Grill is a small Dive Bar in North Charleston that offers Live Music every night except Sunday when they have Karaoke. The Music in Wing's is very loud, and the acoustics in the place makes it uncomfortable; however, the young under 30 crowd seems to like the place and parties there regularly. Wing's Neighborhood Bar & Grill always has a crowd. Wing's also has a limited menu of mostly Pub Grub stuff like burgers, wings, potatoes skins, mozzarella sticks, and items of this nature.

I love Dive Bars, and I'm usually very comfortable and enjoy myself in them, but not at Wing's. The tables are crammed, the Bar is small, and the music volume, in addition to the bad acoustics, sucks. It is very difficult to move around due to the tight spacing of the tables and chairs. The bartenders lack the proper attention, and seemed to be more interested in who is buying them a Shooter. I went in there last night and waited a good 5 minutes while the bartender mixed a Shooter, and toasted with some other patrons. I finally got his attention, and requested a Beer. I waited a few more minutes while he disappeared, and asked another bartender for a Beer. She got it to me right away. The Bar top was covered with water most of the time that I was there too.

It is unbelievable to me that a Bar that does this kind of business, doesn't pay more attention to simple details like wiping the Bar regularly, scanning to see who needs service, and maybe lowering the volume, or correcting the acoustics. But, Wing's Neighborhood Bar & Grill is obviously a favorite among the local under 30 crowd, so I can't take that away from them.

If you are under 30, then you may want to check out Wing's Neighborhood Bar & Grill, but even still, there are other places in North Charleston that are more comfortable and offer as much or more than they do, so why bother?
