Wiseguys is a Dive Bar located in Corpus Christi, Texas. There are two Bar areas in Wiseguys. The main Bar has a small Dance Floor and an area where a band or Karaoke system can be set up. The back Bar has a very large Dance Floor, but the bartender informed me that they do not open it up for Dancing anymore. Instead they have Texas Hold ‘Em Tournaments back there on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday every week. The buy-in is $20.00 to play. Wiseguys also has Karaoke on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday nights too. Throughout the Bar they have pictures of Mobsters, or Wiseguys, like Al Capone, Bonnie & Clyde, and others. There are a few TVs with two large Flat Screen TVs, and they also have two Pool Tables and other electronic Video games to play.

You are allowed to smoke in Wiseguys, and the Bar looks to be very old. It is a friendly little place to drink, and I wouldn’t expect the young crowd to hang out here. I like the place to drink a beer and listen to the jukebox and have a conversation with folks, or just play a game of Pool. Although I call this a Dive, it doesn’t mean that it’s a bad place, just not full of glitz and high priced drinks. I recommend Wiseguys for a quite place to drink and play a game of Pool. If you are around on nights they have Texas Hold ‘Em Tournaments, it only gets better.
