Woody's @ City Market is Neighborhood Bar & Restaurant located on Wolfe Street in the Moore Square District of Downtown Raleigh, NC. Woody's is an eclectically decorated Bar offering 22 Beers on Tap and a large Menu. All the Beers on Tap are Imports or Micro Brews, no domestics. There are two sections - a Bar with tables and a separate Dining room too. It is a Fun, popular Bar for locals and Tourists alike. Woody's is a down-to-earth watering hole, with no pretense. They say that they named it Woody's because "we're always glad to see you come inside." Woody's @ City Market offers Music, Patio Dining, and 30 High Definition TVs with cable and satellite for watching Sports.

The Woody's @ City Market Menu offers a lot of choices. Appetizers offered include Buffalo Rangoon, which is a wonton wrapper, shredded Chicken and hot sauce; Fried Mac & Cheese; Quesadillas; Fried Pickles; Nachos and more. Woody's @ City Market also offers a variety of Soups and Salads including Caesar, Chef, and Cobb. Woody's is also a great place for Wings.
There is a large section of the Woody's @ City Market Menu devoted to Sandwiches, Burgers, and Philly Steaks. Philly Steak varieties include Mushroom Philly, Pepper Philly, Pizza Philly, Italian Philly, Loaded Philly, and the Original Philly. All of the Philly Steaks are served on an 8" Amoroso Hoagie Roll and you get a choice of Fries, Potato Chips, Garlic Seasoned Fries, Potato Salad, Tator Tots, or Cole Slaw. When I visited Woody's @ City Market, I tried the Original Philly with Cheese Wiz and onions. It came with an ample size of Fries. Both the Fries and Philly Cheese Steaks were tasty. It did not take long to get my food ether.
The Menu does not stop there at Woody's @ City Market either. Other Menu items include Meatloaf Sandwich, Chicken Pita, Italian Pork Roast Sandwich, Roast Beef Wrap, Fish Tacos, Fish & Chips, Shrimp basket, and several other Sandwich selections. There is also a Kid's Menu, and they offer daily Specials too.
I recommend Woody's @ City Market in Downtown Raleigh for a great place to eat and enjoy a few Micro Brews or Imported Beers on Tap.
