Hi all, I'm Sophie and I am British and lucky enough to live on the sunny French Riviera. I found this forum through another travel forum that I'm a member of, called Aardvark Travel.
I run a travel agency on the French Riviera - the area of the world where you can find Monaco, Nice, Cannes and St Tropez.
Before starting up my own company I used to work in the French branch of an American company and I used to travel loads with my job and organize the travel of my American colleagues to the French Riviera. I really understand the need for a forum and website like this one as I was so often disappointed when traveling for work. So I think this is a great idea - well done!
I'm not sure how many of you travel to the south of France for business, but if you do, give me a shout and I can recommend great restaurants and bars for you, whatever you are looking for and whatever your budget, because I have lived in this area as a student, as a worker and now as an entrepreneur - I know the restaurants for work, romance, family and fun with friends. I'm not saying this to advertise my company - in fact my company only deals in a small section of what I have just described - but because I know the tourist traps here and the great places, and I'd like to share my knowledge with you to help you get the best out of your stay here.
